Hello, my name is Jacob Pettinga. I am the guy behind The Endeavor Club. I launched The Endeavor Club to help people achieve their fitness related goals. Currently, I am the head coach of University of Michigan’s adaptive track and field team, assistant coaching University of Michigan’s men’s cross country and track & field team, and personal training at Ann Arbor’s YMCA.

I knew that when I made The Endeavor Club, I wanted it to be different. The mainstream fitness industry is, for lack of a better term, fake. I am not the typical fitness professional. Before anything else I am an applied exercise physiologist and coach. Which is not flashy like other influencers; however, my extensive qualifications and experience allows me to be confident I can deliver results. I will not guarantee “easy” results like other trainers. Because results are not easy. Whatever your endeavor is, it is going to be hard. But I know that I can help you get there.

Hi, my name is Dev! I am a certified strength and conditioning specialist and personal trainer. I am currently the head adaptive sports strength and conditioning coach at the University of Michigan and soon to be physical therapist. 

I have a passion for exercise and education and have worked with all populations to help them meet their sport specific and general fitness needs. I am proficient in various types of exercise programming and my goal is to not only coach individuals through individualized programs but to educate you on the why’s, and how’s behind what you’re doing, creating autonomy in your fitness. I truly believe that with some hard work and a little guidance, anyone can achieve what they want in health and fitness.
